Client: Brown and Waters
Deliverables: Identity, print and creative direction

Brown and Waters were committed to a change and really invested their time into wanting to be more industry relevant. We discussed their issues up until this point, and ways we could uncover and propel strategy wise in the future that could make a difference to them as a brand.

Brown and Waters were missing a continued way to tell their story, their narrative and a visual language that they could adopt and be passionate about while delivering services to clients, while maintaining and feeling secure within a language that made sense to the profession and services. It was important to create a voice and verbal identity that was still going to feel corporate due to the industry but authenticity of course came into the picture too which was paramount.

The visual language for Brown and Waters allows for a space and narrative to be in safe hands, a series of building blocks, nothing in the process of their work needs to be overwhelming when Brown and Waters are involved. It was a necessity to not over complicate a visual language when it’s a solicitors, where it needs to be simplistic yet in tune with their services.

Cubano was used for it’s strength and it was different enough to stand out visually, eligibility was key and a typeface that wasn’t out of place given the industry.

The colour palette was full of warm and strong colour ways, not too many due to industry requirements and corporote settings, which was important not to distract too much away from the type of service that was needed.
